This set of CD's is read by the late news commentator, Harry Reasoner, who does a good job of presenting the various "voices" of Central America. Unfortunately the set is very Marxist biased presenting few contrary voices that have not been already comprised like the Dulles Brothers, or President Roosevelt with "his bully pulpit". The same is not true of the "revolutionary physican Che Guervara" who is said to have learnt much in his Guatemalan campaign such as the importance of "owning the military". It is an odd comment since Dr. Che later died at Bolivia from that very same mistake. Still if you are interested in a very pro-Sandinista or believe in the Catholic revolutionary theory view of our southern neighbors, you may enjoy this. I personally found the litany of wrongs by United Fruit and other Dollar Dipolmists rather boring.
